Hello

My name is Va-Lita Morris MA, LMHC-QS, LPC, LCPC, CMHC, MHC

I am a licensed mental health therapist in Florida, Tennessee, Maryland, New Hampshire, and Indiana.  My career in mental health began in 2006 while working in Florida's child welfare system after receiving my BS in Gerontology from Bethune-Cookman University.  I knew I wanted to further my knowledge to make a more substantial and significant impact when working with children and their families.  This led me to earn my Master's in Counseling in 2009 from Webster University.  I have over 16 years of experience in Trauma Informed Care and other evidence based models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) that I have used to work with clients battling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, grief and lost, and historical traumatic experiences. I hope you allow me to help you on your path of healing.

"I worked with Ms.VaLita for 4-5 months and she was so amazing and helpful. She helped me tremendously overcoming struggles and implementing new techniques for a happier life. I don’t where I would be today without her and all the knowledge she has to offer!"

Victoria C, FL

“Miss Valita has helped me through a very tough and traumatic experience in my life when I was just 14 years old. I’m 20 now and still remember how much she helped me. She’s been an amazing therapist to not only me but my mother & sister as well. I would recommend her to anyone. She’s kind, understanding, has soul, and she’s all around a 10 out of 10. If you’re ever dealing with Things that are hard to talk about to others… please don’t waste your time going anywhere else. She’s truly amazing".

Vierra P, TN

"Recently, I had a chance to receive counseling from Ms. Morris to discuss some new issues in my life. At first, I thought seeing someone about my mental health was absurd. However, I must admit she is one of a kind. She is very easy to talk to. She isn't judgmental. She wants to work with me for the best possible outcome. She is an active listener and very professional. After talking to her I feel a sense of relief and that I can take on my obstacles in my life with a clearer mind and focused energy. I plan on continuing my treatment with her as long as she & I feel fit".

Frank J, FL

"My experience with Ms. Morris was great, very professional and she really cares about family structure. She gives you a vibe that let's you open up to her
